The story of Facing the surface
“From a flat surface to an interactive space; movement is a happening, an experience, a moment of interaction and connection.”
A continuing interaction takes place between ourselves and the spaces and surfaces that surround us. ‘Facing the Surface’ is part of an on-going material research into the transformation of the flat surface into a moving, interactive object through specific adjustment of the material. As a result, the interplay between reflection, volume and light allows of new structures to emerge with every different movement.
